Conclusion
This was just okay. A chocolate cake with a cake like texture , bit salty, with cream cheese filling that did not have much cheese flavorbut added a nice texture to the dry cake. Was quite good.
208% cream cheese, 175% castor sugar, 164% egg, 50% cocoa, 150% butter, baking powder to self raising flour

Mixture ‘A’
250g cream cheese (at room temperature) 125g
60g castor sugar 30g
1 egg 25g

Method
Beat cream cheese with sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg until well incorporated. Set mixture aside.
Mixture ‘B’
180g butter 90g
150g sugar 75g
3 eggs 150g 75g
3 tbsp cocoa 60g 30g
120g self-raising flour 60g
1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp

Method
Grease a 7 inch cake pan. Preheat oven at 180°C.
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, one at a time until well incorporated into mixture.
Sieve all the dried ingredients together.
Fold into egg mixture.
To assemble, pour half of mixture ‘B’, then all of mixture ‘A’, then remaining mixture ‘B’. Gently spreading the mixture B to cover all of mixture A.
Bake for 45-50 min or until skewer comes out clean.
Serve well chilled.
