Lemon Dessert Sauce 8/10

* 1/4 cup sugar
* 2 teaspoons cornstarch
* 1/2 cup boiling water
* 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
* 1 tablespoons butter
* 1/2 grated lemon, rind of
* 1/16 teaspoon salt

Mix sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan.
Stir in boiling water and lemon juice.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil 3 minutes until clear and thick.
Remove from heat and stir in butter, lemon rind and salt.

Easy to make, and does it’s job. A pleasant lemon flavor.
