Graham Cracker Crust 9/10

Graham Cracker Crust

9/10 January 15/2009

• 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons finely ground graham cracker crumbs 30g
• 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon white sugar 15g
• 1 tablespoon and 1-1/2 teaspoons butter, melted 20g
• 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional) 0.3g

This recipe’s Ingredients were scaled to yield a new amount. The directions below still refer to the original recipe yield of 1 pie crust.
1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter or margarine, and cinnamon until well blended . Press mixture into an 8 or 9 inch pie plate.
2. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 7 minutes. Cool. If recipe calls for unbaked pie shell, just chill for about 1 hour.

This was just what graham cracker crust tastes like. I did two variations. The one with the sugar tasted nice. The one without sugar tasted equally as nice because I used honey graham crackers.
